It is convenient to demonize others for the steady torrent of plastic junk strewn across our lawns and flooding our landfills. After all, relatively few of us actually manufacture plastic, package snack foods and candy, or make decisions concerning the toy surprise in next month’s Happy Meals.
However, our collective consumption habits drive demand for these wasteful enterprises.
